10 Years Popping Off!
Cohen's Retreat celebrates a decade of coming together in support of local artisans, makers, creators, and musicians during their annual holiday craft fair.
It’s back! For a 10th year, the “Pop Up Party” at Cohen’s Retreat, 5715 Skidaway Road, Savannah, not only offers a jumpstart on holiday shopping but also a chance to connect and relax with friends and neighbors.
The family-friendly event kicks off Friday evening, November 8, with a “Girls’ Night Out” soiree. Enjoy smooth live music from Cyril Durant, drink specials, lite bites, and more than 20 local vendors set up with one-of-a-kind, locally made items. Craft-savvy patrons can even try their hand at printing tea towels with Hostess City artisans Moss and Marsh. The night promises to prime guests for the next day’s great shopping and good times.
Saturday, November 9—the real buying bonanza begins. At 10 a.m. guests can shop and toe-tap to the country grooves of Savannah’s own Lyn Avenue, and at 1 p.m. Americana heroes Junkyard Angels take the stage until 3 p.m. The bands play outdoors adjacent to lines and rows of more than 75 makers and creators
And as the beat goes, guests can flow among local vendors Love Lane Designs, Tribe and Temple, Becca Sipper, Stacey Wells Photography, Sandfly Flower Shop, Savannah Candle Company, and many more. Service Brewing will be outside pouring craft beers, while in the restaurant patrons can partake of brunch, lunch, and craft cocktails. The day is made for connection, laughter, and enjoyment.
The kids have their own outdoor haven as well complete with art bus, face painting, bounce house, and ice cream. Since the property is bound by fencing, Cohen’s boasts a safe space for keeping the youngest guests away from Skidaway Road’s bustling traffic.
